Jordan versus Lebron. Lebron versus Jordan. It's a debate that has captured the public's attention for the past several years, especially after 2016, when Lebron James went on to beat the 73-9 Golden State Warriors to win his third NBA championship of his career. In Lebron's words, "That one right there made me the greatest basketball player of all-time… that's what I felt." But did it? Has everything since that finals series just been icing on the cake for Lebron, or does Lebron still need to prove himself? Before we start our analysis, let's look at who these two renowned basketball players are.

According to Forbes magazine, James is set to earn $111.2 million for the next year. At age 37, Lebron has played nineteen seasons in the NBA and has played on three different teams ,including the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Michael Jordan
Loved by the city of Chicago and seen as the image of perfection, Michael Jordan is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. During Air Jordan's career in the NBA he made around $90 million according to Forbes Magazine with his final two seasons with the Bulls making $63 million. During Jordan's fifteen seasons in the NBA, he has played for both the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards. Jordan also shocked the world when he took a year and a half off to pursue a short-livid professional baseball career with the Birmingham Barons in 1994.
