In this assignment, my close friend Edwin and I made a podcast answering the question, “Should Michael Jordan be the new NBA logo?” We started by explaining who the NBA logo currently is and how the logo was chosen. I described how Jerry West, the current logo, was embarrassed by being the logo and felt it took away from his basketball legacy. Next, I mentioned multiple players that have been mentioned to be the next NBA logo, including Kobe Byrant, who tragically passed back in 2020, and many players feel he portrayed what the NBA should look like. Finally, I asked Edwin since Jerry West was considered one of the greatest basketball players to play the game of basketball, but now in 2022, Michael Jordan seems to be the leader in that conversation. Since Jordan is considered the greatest of all time, do you think he should be the new NBA logo?
